Geo-Flo will be transitioning from a fully machined cap to an injection-molded cap (Figure 1) on all
single- and dual-circuit NP non-pressurized flow centers over the next month, including NP, NPP,
and NPD models. The injection-molded cap is identified by the ribs running along the length of the
part, which provide improved grip compared to the machined version. As part of this update, the
vacuum relief valve will be relocated from the tank to the injection-molded cap (Figure 2), allowing
for easier replacement in the unlikely event that service is required. The new cap is fully
interchangeable with the previous design and is compatible with all existing NP and NPD products
utilizing the HDPE tank released in early 2025 (Figure 3).
