Geo-Flo’s chamfer tools are combination poly pipe chamfering tool / depth gauge that allow the installer to add a lead-in chamfer (i.e. bevel) to the front of the polyethylene pipe, and then set the proper fusion depth on the pipe. The chamfer allows the pipe to be more easily inserted into the fusion faces and fittings during the fusion process. After chamfering, the cold ring tool is locked behind the chamfer tool/depth gauge to set the fusion depth. The chamfer tools we offer are for IPS pipe, and are manufactured in accordance with ASTM F1056.
